After installing a printer in Windows 7, you'd better print a test page. It can help you confirm whether or not your printer works. And also give you some useful information for troubleshooting.
How To print a test page in Windows 7:
Click the Start button --> clicking Devices and Printers --> Right-click a printer --> click Printer properties --> On the General tab, click Print Test Page.

general tab on windows OS 7 doesn't have Print Test Page.
ReplyDeleteI noticed this to. You have to right click on the printer in Devices and Printers go to See What's Printing and then click Printer > Properties and that's where you can find the print test page button. Microsoft needs to update their documentation.
ReplyDeleteI also niticed this to. now you have to go start->device and printers->click on printer who is installed->printer action->customise your printer and see in bottom (test page)
