solved windows 7 gadgets not working

Windows 7 Sidebar & Gadgets is very useful for us. But sometimes windows 7 gadgets not working. This maybe cause by disable UAC.

How to fix windows 7 gadgets (Including Windows 7 X64 bit):

Click the Start button --> type regedit in the search box and press Enter --> in the registry editor, navigate to following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Sidebar\Settings

Then in right pan of the editor, right-click to create A New 32 Bit Value DWORD and named “AllowElevatedProcess” with set value as “1”.

The gadgets will work properly. Now I rightclick anywhere on desktop and select gadgets. Add something and put them on desktop.

    I follow this HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Sidebar\
    and when I came to Sidebar folder, there was no settings :/

    Click Start, type regedit.exe and press ENTER
    Navigate to the following branch:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\

    Within the Zones folder delete an extra folder with name "L" and leave the 0,1,2,3,4 folder as such then close the window, log off and then log in again.

    when I oped HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Sidebar\ their were no setting :-(

    No "L" folder and no "Settings" folder.

    This happen when user try to install a new gadget, or the setting of gadget is changed by any program. So either reset it to original setting or delete the folder.
    second is easy for every user.
    If your user account name is Alok, then you should go to folder C:\Users\Alok Tripathi\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\
    and delete the file Setting.ini
    now try to reload gadegt from desktop, it will work. if you have any confusion delete entire winodws sidebar folder and log off and log on again, it will work.
    And delete

    Not useful yet by : Sidebar folder deletion,by Alok. No solution works of Huxley or Daabang. Not useful yet by Chaturanga's downloading.

    Anymore recommendation. Why microsoft keeps silent in this error. It is their responsibility to fix it soon. Pls help dears if you have.
